Collision Records
The Records Division of the Jackson Police Department provides citizens with traffic collision reports at their request.
You must file an SR21 form, with the state, within 10 calendar days of a collision if there was an injury, death, or combined total property damage of $1,000 or more. The SR21 form can be found online.

You will need to print these out first in order to fill them out and mail to:

We maintain records in accordance with Wyoming State Retention Schedule Statutes. We are authorized to disseminate police report information to other agencies. We are not however, authorized to release police reports to defendants or to the general public under any circumstances. These records are confidential and not for public release.

Looking for your car?
Call the Jackson Police Department at 733-1430 during normal working hours or dispatch at 733-2231 nights and weekends. Verify that your vehicle has been towed by the Police Department. You’ll need to then, bring either check or cash , to the Town Hall at 150 East Pearl Avenue.
You will have three options:
- Pay for the entire amount they owe at the time they pick up their vehicle. This includes citation bond(s) and tow. This amount may vary.
- Pay only the $75 for the tow bill , and pay the citation bond(s) via mail or at the Town Hall during business hours
- Pay for only the tow ($75) and dispute the citation by
- Attending Municipal court on their scheduled court date Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., or
- Writing a letter to the Municipal Court
An officer will assist you in retrieving your vehicle.
