Police Department Offering Hunter Education Training

The Jackson Police Department is offering Hunter Education Training in February 2010, mark your calendars now. As part of our ongoing efforts to reach out to the public and provide education to our public, the police department will offer the course in Jackson February 16, 17, 23, 24, 2010. The course times are from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm each night and attendees must attend all the classes and pass the test to be eligible for a Wyoming Hunter Safety Card. The hunter safety certification is required for all perspective hunters who were born after January 1, 1966 or anyone who wants to hunt any special federal hunts such as the National Elk Refuge or GTNP.

Sign up with the front desk of the Jackson Police Department in person at 150 East Pearl in the Town Hall. The cost is $10.00. 4-H participants attend for free.
