Online Police Report Form

You can use this form to report minor crimes, delayed collisions and other non-emergency type crimes or incidents. ANY crime that requires immediate officer involvement shall NOT be reported here, instead, call 911.

The crime report form will be retrieved from the system Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (Excluding Holidays) Once these are retrieved, a member of the Jackson Police Department will call for a follow-up review of the information that was sent in. If you need a faster response, please call the Police Department at 307.733.1430, or our Dispatch Center at 307.733.2331. If it has been more than 48 hours, and you have not been contacted by the police department, please call the Dispatch Center.

You cannot report these crimes online:

  • Crimes of Violence
  • Collisions over $1000 and/or injuries
  • Auto Burglaries/Thefts
  • Commercial Burglaries
  • Residential Burglaries
  • Property Destruction over $1000
  • Vandalism over $1000
These types of crimes cannot be reported online because the delay of response may damage any evidence that may have been left at the scene. Please call the Dispatch Center to report these crimes. 307.733.2331 or 911
