The Jackson Hole Police Department currently employs a total of 34 sworn and non-sworn people that serve a permanent population of about 9000 people and a tourist population that is even greater.
Our department utilizes various forms of Community and Problem Oriented Policing to provide the best service we can to our community. Besides our patrol and investigative functions, we also provide community education training programs on such topics as shoplifting, employee theft, animal control and child safety. As an added service to our community, we take requests for radar trailer placement, house checks and speed enforcement.
